Sometimes I wish I was one, because

1. Your family would have more money

2. You wouldn't have to worry about sharing

3. You wouldn't have an annoyance surrounding you 24/7

4. You wouldn't have to worry about fighting with someone

Have you ever wished you were an only child?

  1. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. You must be pretty young. once you get older you will be close to them.

  2. No I never thought anything like this even though my brother and I never got along. Hes my brother, and anything thats mine is his.

If you care more about money than people, dont like sharing, are easily annoyed, and have problems with arguing, then something is the matter with you. You will never be able to have a meaningful relationship, and would probably make a horrible parent.

  3. ever kid wishes they were a only child at one point in time but i have an older brother just went to college so its like being an only child and really its sad i miss him a lot so even though you may fight with your sibling trust me you really wouldnt want to be an only child in the end.

  4. NO, NO, NO!

I have an older brother who taught me how to throw a football, play baseball and not worry about a scrape on the knee or elbow.  He taught me how to fish (along with my dad) and helped me reel in the big fish when I caught one.  He taught me to be tough because life wasn't always going to be easy.

I have a younger sister.  I was able to pass things down to her.  I had someone to play girl stuff with (Barbie dolls, baby dolls, dress-up, etc.) and share wardrobes with when we were older.

Sure there were plenty of times when they were annoying, but I hardly remember that now.  I remember all the fun we had and the fact that I always had someone to hang out with when my friends weren't available.

Only children tend to me selfish as a result of never having to share.  Nobody likes a selfish person.  Only children tend to be lonely and, as a result, lazy and fat.  Only children tend to be less socialized when school starts because they havne't had the exposure to other children as frequently.  Many only children are annoying all the time because they have to get all the attention while with friends since they don't get that kind of attention at home.  Only children tend to be spoiled, rotten snobs that nobody likes and they don't know how to handle an argument when one arises.

As for the money thing, it really doesn't buy happiness.  What good is it to get a new bike when your friends can't ride with you?  With a brother and sister, there is always someone to ride with when your other friends can't ride.  Besides, having more money with the idea that you would have more stuff or be able to do more stuff would only create a snotty little brat that nobody wants to hang out with.

  5. No, buddy. i wouldn't trade my brothers for all the gold in the world. I don't give a rats butt about how difficult its going to be for us, i'll forge a life comfortable enough for us all.

  6. i am an only child and i hate it

my parents always shout at me and blame everything on me even when its not my fault

it would be better having a brother/sister as you can always share your problems with them

  7. YES yes yes yes yes yes YES!

  8. omg yes, my lil sis is a pain in my butt

however, i would want one if they were a lot older than me

  9.    YES!!!!!!!
