Peoples opinion: why do u think wood isnt used as much in toy making?

first answer read my mind. splinters. also, lead paint i think caused a raucous, tinker toys...

The world has gone digital, most toys have complicated microchips in them these days. Its all plastic metal and wires. woods old school. It costs to much, it is not as malleable and basically wood and batteries don't really mix, if you get my point. Plus its to expensive and is harder to make toys in bulk.

Expensive.  Plastic is cheaper.

Because it last longer so they use plastic instead
