do you think global warming will soon go away, like will people starts taking care of the planet since they now know the effects? , like is there any new inventions, like idk how to explain, but do you know of anything that ma help the world?

I have many environmental concerns and care very much for the health of the earth, but do not consider global warming as one of my primary concerns.

As to the question of "taking care of the planet", there are many technological improvements already invented that can reduce the impact of man's activities on the natural environment.  However, these improvements cost money, and people in general do not appear willing to suffer the cost, the marked decrease in standard of living that will come with their use.

There is no magic bullet.  Just improvements and behavioral changes.  Therein lies the solution.  Slowly turn the course of the ship.

Well that depends. If we act right away on global warming it will go away but, not right away. Even with our new technology it wouldn't help as much. The best we could do is recycle, use enviormentally friendly power plants and plant trees. It would also, include that everybody on Earth work together on fighting global warming.

Also, fighting global warming cost money and people seem like they aren't willing to suffer the cost. The best suggestions in my opinion are higher gas prices because it gets more cars off the streets and people won't turn their air conditioners on as much.

Another effect to global warming is human population. The more people there are the more polluted it gets like when everybody is driving and using energy. So, that would mean people would have to have less children like about 2 or less. Through out geological history the Earth's average temperature has increased and decreased but, we haven't experienced as much Carbon Dioxide in the air. CO2 hurts our enviorment and the ecosystem. It keeps increasing all the time. So, it is important that we cut down on CO2.

I like the answers of the others but unfortunately it will be really hard to make it "go away" so to speak.  We can reduce the rate of global warming by controlling human activity but we cannot stop it from happening.  Through geologic time the Earth does go through cycles.  But we have the Earth changing so rapidly that the ecosystem is heading for a huge breakdown.

Global warming will not "go away".  Nor will global cooling.  The planet has been warming and cooling cyclically throughout it's existence.  Humankind can affect the speed at which the cycle occurs, but they can't stop it altogether.

The planet was warming and cooling before humans walked the earth, and it will continue to do so after we're extinct.

No I don't think there is a chance for us. Ya we all can do our part but till we stop the modern way nothing will change. I'm talking the BIG picture. everyone needs to stop driving cars and do more home growing food its all out of our hands.

This is really a sociological question not an earth sciences question, but I think reducing humans' impact on the environment will be the result of many small advances, not a single "silver bullet."

your question is really nice, for my own opnion global warming will not go away because we cannot please man to stop developning modern technology which is the common enemy of environment. though there are some who are concern to our environment still many people in the world careless about the destruction of our world they continue destructing and polluting our world....god we dont have any hope to prevent the destruction of our mother nature...

Yes.Encourage the use of non emitting flue gas fuels for Vechels. Use mechanical power to drive the Vechel rather than depending upon petrol and diesel.Try to locate the residence near to their work place wherever possible to avoid using automobile Vechel. Improve rain water harvesting for un attended sectors.
