Pep Guardiola all praise for his team after Barcelona’s Champions League win over Real Madrid
Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola, has praised his team following the emphatic 3-1 aggregate win over rivals Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League. He stated that it was a tough test to play against Los Blancos but hailed the determination of his players.
Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League to qualify for their second final in three years. “It has been a tough 20 days, because we have played four times against the toughest team, the richest team in the world, so many times the referee has had an influence. But we played very well,” the manager was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Barcelona midfielder revealed that it would be an honour to play at Wembley once again in the final as Barcelona won first European Cup in 1992 at the same venue when he was still a player.

“Barcelona won their first European Cup at Wembley in 1992 and we arrive at the new Wembley and we're so proud for our club, for the players. We have to prepare as best we can for the final, I don't know who it will be, Schalke or Manchester [United], I suppose it will be Manchester,” the tactician concluded.
The Catalans are on their way to win their second Champions League in three years after they defeated Manchester United 2-0 in 2009 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
