The Spaniard also applauded the opposition’s efforts and claimed that the Red Devils gave them a hard time in the match. He added that it was a very competitive first half as Manchester United levelled right after Pedro scored. But the Catalans were simply
fantastic after the interval and dominated possession to take the match away from the English side.
“The history of Manchester United told us that we would have a hard time. They played at a high level and managed to equalise so soon after we scored the first goal. I think we must be happy because we were very competitive today,” he concluded.
