Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian Prime Minister, has gone on to remark on the rumours linking Pep Guardiola with a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Milan and has reassured Allegri.
The Rossoneri have not gone on to their usual start to the season, where they lead the race for others to follow, as has been the case in the recent past. They have failed to fully implement their ideology of play this season, and much of it has got to do
with the way many top players have departed the club, in these past few seasons.
Last season alone, there have been more than 13 players who left the Diavolo and this has seen the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Inzaghi-c13777 seek new pastures. Whereas some have gone on to ply their trade in different
parts of Europe, others have gone on to ply their trade in American continents.
This has left a gaping hole in the squad of the Rossoneri as the team is looking to perform to the best of their abilities, but it is extremely difficult, given the set of circumstances that have affected the side following the departures from the club.
Berlusconi was talking to Canale 5 and during his conversation with the television channel, he remarked on his liking for the Spaniard. He went on to state that everyone would want to get Guardiola as he has been a visionary in football, but he remained
adamant that he would continue with their current head coach.
He went on to state:
“Guardiola gave life to a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 team that played the best football of recent years. I think that everyone would like Guardiola, but we have an excellent relationship with Allegri and that will continue. There has always been a good rapport with Allegri
on a personal level. There have been rumours and stories which don’t correspond with the truth.”
Allegri has come under increasing amount of slack for the way his team has performed in the current campaign. However, they have gone on to perform reasonably well in their recent performances which has eased the pressure on the former Cagliari boss.
