Peppermint frosting for horse treats?

does anybody have a link to a recipe to a peppermint frosting that is safe to give to a horse

Well,

take some applesauce and sprinkle some crumbs of peppermint candys.

And when i mean crumbs, smash the candys and mix it in!Horses love those things!

My mare loves peppermints as well and she gets the peppermint candy which isn't near as messy as frosting. I like to give the ones with real peppermint oil as its a tummy soother and she has treated for ulcers a few months ago ($2500 for 7 days in intensive care).
