no because candies dont have natural herbal oils ..its all chemical crapola

It might, but a better bet would be ginger, especially if there is nausea. Fresh, or from the spice jar, or the real ginger soda like Reed's that you can get at the health food store or Trader Joe's

Keep in mind that peppermint may help speed digestion, but it is not advised for anyone with an ulcer or GERD. Peppermint tea works the best. I find that some candies work for settling my stomach, especially Altoids.
