Question:

Pepsi Fountain Machine Dispenser?

I have a Pepsi fountain machine dispenser and just here lately the dr.pepper on the machine comes out tasting flat and not really having a flavor. I have switched the BIBs and the Co2 and it still tastes the same. Do you need to regularly check the syrup to carbonated water ratio? I assumed the Pepsi company was supposed to have that done, maybe not. If I do need to check the ratio, how is that done?

  1. Yes the ration needs to be checked periodically. The bibs should be cleaned daily and of course the syrup and CO2 as needed. But the ratio can change over time. Normally if you pull the cover off of the fountian giving you the problem where the drink label is located you willl see a s***w with numbers on it. You can change it yourself. If not your distributor should come out to do it for you.

  2. The servicer fixes it when he delivers the next batch of ingredients.   YOu can call the company that delivers the ingredients and ask to keep getting transferred until someone tells you.

Put a different flavor in the DrPepper tank to see if the same thng happens.

  3. PEPSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
