Pepsi and coke are not the same?

Question

What do you do when you go to restaurant, ask if they have coke, they tell you yes, and then bring you pepsi?

to me it doesn't matter so i always say just bring me a coke or pepsi.

it seems if i just ask for a coke and they carry pepsi they always say  is pepsi okay........

there are a few main questions to answer this question.

is the waitress wearing a white shirt and has she brought you your glass of water?  If you answered yes to the following 2 questions you dump your water on her b***s take a fast peek and then make a run for it. as you run out yell ... f*ck you i asked for a coke!

I would be amazed if you could tell the difference. I wouldn't do anything because I couldn't tell.

I always tell the server then you won't mind if I pay my bill with  pennies since it's the same as dollars.

I just take it. They do the same thing with sprite/seirra mist  I can immediately taste the difference but I never bother to ask them to bring me a new drink although it would be better if they would just offer the other drink to you instead of just immediately bringing you whatever they want.

I don't get too upset, but I sure would if I absolutely hated Pepsi and they brought it to me instead of Coke, or the other way around.  When I was a waitress and I worked at a place that served Pepsi products, when someone asked me for a Coke, I'd say, "Is Pepsi all right?" and if it wasn't, they could order something else.

they seriously taste the same. except coke is a little stronger and pepsi is a little sweeter. i wouldnt care, i like both of them

I am a diet coke fan. I would ask then if this is Pepsi cuz there is a difference. Diet Coke has no sugar,trans fat, and it is zero calories. Pepsi has sugar and calories! I would ask them if it is and if they don't have diet coke or Pepsi then don't mind, they just want to get the closest thing they can so they don't upset the customer. Pepsi is the same company as diet coke.

coke and pepsi are basically the same thing.

they are both plain sodas, however they do taste a little different.

I don't drink either.  I don't like the cola taste in general.  If it was a different kind, like sprite or 7up, I wouldn't care.  If I asked for a drink and they brought me something completely wrong then I would say something.  Would possibly say something if I got diet and didn't order it.

I would drink the Pepsi and wish they would have told me they carry Pepsi products instead.  However, I do like Pepsi also but it is different from Coke for sure.  Now if I order a Dt. Coke and they try and give me a Dt. Pepsi I would say no to that cause it is way different than Dt. Coke.
