Percent to tip in canada?

I heard that in Canada servers make almost 9.00 an hour..where as in the U.S we make 4.60...what are you supposed to tip in Canada? Does anybody know?

I was a server for 2.5 years here in canada. The wage in Ontario that most servers make (the minimum at most chain restaurants) is $7.60 or something like that.

Like most place if the service is good I would tip 20% if it was at par 15% and if it was bad it's up to you... I was a server and I will leave no tip if i was completely ignored.
