  1. 980,000/1,022,000=0.9589

    0.9589 x 100= roughly 96 %

  2. ya it's the NUMBER OF Invertebrates divided by/over the total no. multiplied by 100 over 1. watch this:

         980,000/1022000= 0.95890410958904109589041095890411 x 100

                          95.890410958904109589041095890411%

which can be rounded off to 96%

  3. You make a proportion with % over 100 equals amount asked for over total amount

    So x/100 = 980,000/1,022,000

    Now cross multiply: 1,022,000x = 98,000,000

and divide both sides by 1,022,000

    getting x = 95.89%

  4. the answer is 95.890410958904109589041095890411

any time u need to figure out a precent use this it is extremely helpful

    is/of = %/100

it basicly mean this: in this question u need to figur out what PRECENT OF 1022000 IS 980000

1st so u put 1022000 where the of goes and u put 980000 where the is goes and cause u dont know the precent is u put an x there

    2nd then u cross multiply

then u divide ur variable into ur other number and that gives u ur answer

u can use this on any precent prblem

    hope it was helpful

  5. You put the number of invertebrates species over the total species so it is a fraction. You end up having 980,000 divided by 1,022,000 which on my scientific calculator comes out to .9589041096 or about 96% when rounded.  ( You move the decimal over 2 spaces to the left. ex:  95/100 = .95/1 = .95 = 95%  they are all the same)
