I want to question people on perceptions of waste within what they buy. What would you ask?

  1. For homeowners, I would ask,

    "Do you participate in your community recycling program?"

    Tests perceptions on a cooperative level.

    Another would be,

    "Do you bag and set your grass clippings out by the curb or do you scatter them as green mulch in areas where you have plantings or edging mulch?"

    (Test perceptions on what their creative alternatives are to waste.)  

    And another,

    "Do you wash your clothing in cold water or do you select warm or hot water?"

    (Tests the perception of the invisible waste associated with power generation.)



    Using these examples you may now exercise your creative abilities by composing your own questions.


  2. I would ask:

    What product(s) do you use most often? What do you think happens to this product when you are done using it? And how do you think this effects the environment?

  3. Waste is perceived by not using goods or services to the full and/or having leftovers that require a lot of resources to remove.

  4. i would ask ,why do the high street use and waste a lot when they could give it away to charities.plus what we buy is then put in our rubbish.twice the problem.
