Question:

Perennial Seeds from gorgeous flowering plants for NY Newbe? Trades?

I am new to Niagara Falls area from Southern California. Worlds of difference in gardening!!! After spending a fortune on annuals, realize I should have purchased perennials. Too late in season, alas, and plants are so pricey.

Does Clematis grow from seed? No luck at all with the four plants I bought. Love exotics, as well as great garden standbys.

Anyone want to swap great seeds, cuttings, gardening advice etc., for great recipes? Advice on antiques, or even some antiques for great trades (I am a big time dealer) Will also pay a reasonable price, or send stamped envelope.

I can swap some heirloom tomato seeds, or give you fabulous ideas for vegetarian cooking, advice on investment antiques and fine art.

Do bad you are so far away for I would love to exchange some seeds and cuttings..however I do not have the necessary license to send cuttings or plants..I grow veggies and a few plants from seed/cuttings and sell for a living...I have grow light set ups i start all my veggies from such as now here in Florida I just planted broccolli, cauliflower, cabbage, collards, and mustard green all from seed under my lights..They have just sprouted..i start my winter plants indoors 2 months before planting time and the same as my summer veggies I start indoors from seed under lights around January the first to set out by march..I have a regular growers permit for Bay County Florida and legal to sell anything I grow, but i cannot legally ship live plants or cuttings..I have tons of good veggie seeds for the winter I can ship though..
