Florentino Perez denied the fact that Ronaldo is “sad” because he wants to leave Santiago Bernabeu. The Real Madrid president stated that the forward is sad for other reasons, and it has nothing to do with a desire to leave the Spanish capital.
With all the controversy that has arisen due to the Portuguese player’s sadness, Florentino Perez finally tried to clarify the matter. Perez admitted that there were professional reasons behind the blown out affair, whilst also stating that if Ronaldo wanted
to leave he would have done when the transfer window was still open.

club.
After scoring two goals for Real Madrid in their 3-0 victory over Granada, of which one of them was his 150th goal for the club, the Portuguese forward stated his so called professional sadness to the media, saying, “I’m sad because of a professional issue
and the club know why.”
Rumours started flying around faster than owls in a Harry Potter film, especially pertaining towards his wage, and suggestions that he wants to leave Los Blancos.
When questioned on the matter, Florentino Perez stated, “”If he wanted to leave he’d have said so when the transfer window was still open,” thereby dispelling the rumours that Ronaldo wants to leave.
The Spanish president further added, “There are other reasons behind it.”
Ronaldo’s tweets on the matter were, “That I am feeling sad and have expressed this sadness has created a huge stir.”
The Portuguese talisman then confronted the matter pertaining to his wages by stating, “I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case.”
