Perfect Delight determined to win Fillies’ Stakes
Perfect Delight is determined to claim top spot in the Reisser Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, a high-profile Class 4 contest that will take place at Newbury racecourse on Thursday, June 14. The event is set to start at 4:00 (GMT).
The Clive Cox-trained bay filly is looking to break her maiden by winning the coming contest. She gained immense momentum by getting a runner-up rank in each of her last two outings during the first half of May 2012.
In her last start entitled as Betfair Median Auction Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, she was a 4-6 favourite. Prior to these classic feats, the three-year-old young and energetic runner had gained a third on April 23.
As a whole, the brilliant daughter of Dubai Destination out of Perfect Spirit has run for 9 times so far since debuting in July 2011.
At the moment, Perfect Delight is carrying a lot of confidence that will help her make a big impact in today’s event.
The filly is going to face 9 competitors including Aquilla, Coplow, Disposition, Easter Diva, Gold Show, La Pampita, Positively, Roman Around and We Used To Wait.
Her chances to thrive are up to 80 percent provided she manages to make an accurate use of her inherent racing capabilities.
Among other runners, Gold Show and Disposition are likely to perform well today.
Gold Show started her career on April 21, 2012 and finished 4th in each of her first two races. The Mick Channon-trained grey filly marvellously grabbed a runner-up rank against a dozen of rivals in her last outing on May 28. She too looks to
be in good form at the moment.
On the other hand, Disposition debuted with a runner-up position on November 12, 2011. The John Gosden-trained novice filly gained a third in her second start on April 25, 2012. The rookie runner finished 4th against 13 competitors in her last
start on May 21.
