  1. 24

  2. I don't think it is age as much as preparedness - mental and financial.

  3. I don't think there is a perfect age to have a baby. I think it's whenever you are mentally, emotionally, and financially stable and able to provide a wonderful life for a child. I don't believe in teen pregnancies (done on purpose) because clearly, as a teenager, you aren't mentally, emotionally, and financially able to care for a child. I think some people are ready in their twenties, some not til their 30's, and some even later. Physically though, I think in your twenties would be a good time to have a baby because you're still young and have a lot of energy. I was 20 when I had my daughter and I am happy that I have a lot of energy for her, but even then, I'm so exhausted. I couldn't imagine doing it when I'm older.

Just to comment on what Ann B said-I agree that by having my daughter so young, i do feel like i've missed out on a lot that all my friend's are doing. I still wouldn't change it for the world, but yes having a baby young, you do have to give up a lot.

  4. It varies by circumstance, but for the average person who will attend college and be in a stable relationship in which to conceive the children, I say the perfect age to start is 28. To me starting after 30 is just too late.

  5. Physically 18 years old.

Mentally emotionally 25-30 in a stable relationship/marriage, mature, and a person with good mental health.

A person that will abuse a baby, physically, verbally mentally, sexually, not support them, neglect them, not care for them properly.  Than the age is NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. 27.

  7. probly 28-33

  8. From my experience my friends who had kids younger (20-25) felt like they missed out more than my friends that waited.  My friends that were like 27-30 when they had their first seem to be better adjusted parents, more secure in their relationships, and generally happier.  I am pregnant and 27 so I hope Im right!

  9. I think the early 30s are the best time (30-33).  I waited until I was 38 to have my first and now I'm 42 with two children, ages 1 & 4.  Not only do I have tons of resentment because I gave up a satisfying career and lifestyle and now stay home, but the long sleepless nights really get to me physically!  And, I'll be in my mid to late 50s before I have any freedom again.

Don't get me wrong.... I love my girls and I'm glad I had children, but if I had to do it over again, I would have done it much sooner.
