  1. Question (1):Vented or Sealed?

    Answer (1):Deff. Ported (Vented)

Question (2):(And what are the pros/cons of each)?

    Answer(2): Ported (Pros)

. Much Much Louder!!! (3-6db Increase)

. Increased Efficiency, Increased Low Frequency Output, Relatively Low Distortion!

    CONS

. Bigger Enclosure Takes Up More Space In Trunk Or Wherever.Less Tolerant Of Design/Construction Errors, No Woofer Control Below Tuning Frequency.

    Sealed (Pros)

Smaller Enclosure, Higher Power Handling, Excellent Dampening And Transient Response, Easy To Design And Build, Can Be Forgiving Of Design And Construction Errors.

    CONS

    Efficiency Vs. Output

    Question (3):Area of the box?

Answer (3): Cant Say Right Now Measure Your Trunk First Length Width & Height So I Know How Much Cubic Ft. It Can Be.

Question (4):If ported, what should the port be tuned at (#Hz)?

Answer (4): Theres A Guy That Lives By Me & He Has The 15'' Kicker CVX (The Round L7) Their Basically The Same Just Diff. Shape Its Ported & Its Tuned To 28 Hz. & Its Hella Loud. So Tune Yours To 28 Hz. If You Can.

P.S: If You Dont Want To Do All Of The Measureing & Buying The Wood To Make It Heres Some Ported & Sealed Enclosures You Can Buy Straight Off The Internet @ Prices Starting From 39.99 to 44.99 Made With 3/4 MDF Wood!!!! (Made Just For The 15'' Kicker L5 Or L7)

Great Boxes!!!! Get these!!!! May 15, 2008

Review written by Randolph from Bronx, NY

These boxes are of excellent quality. Very strong, thick wood, I have a kicker L5 in these boxes and I can say that these boxes can handle every bit of bass I can crank out. Very sturdy boxes. 100% recommend.
