Perfect call of duty 4 character?

What is the perfect combo of perks, guns, and special grenades for a-

1. sniper

2. close quarters

3. overall

I don't think that this matters, but I have it for Xbox 360.

I'm always a sniper, here's the setup I use:

Primary: M40A3 - NO ACOG!

Secondary: Desert Eagle

Perk 1: C4

Perk 2: Stopping Power

Perk 3: Deep Impact

Special Grenade: Smoke

Works for me... but play around with it to see what works for you... you make like Claymores better than C4, or Iron Lungs better than Deep Impact.  I recommend you keep Stopping power though - it'll make it so you can kill almost anyone (Juggernaut excepted) in one shot without needing a headshot.
