Perfect pushup question?

does the perfect pushup thing they advertise on tv really work?

OK, I came home drunk one night and turned on the tv.  Next thing I know ive got the perfect pushup.  I tried it out and I am really not the impressed.  Mostly, because I have been in the military for 5 years now and Doing the "ppu" just felt to weird.  But my wife likes it, she thinks its great for her.  She puts it on the wall and does pushups standing up.  When I use it it DOES feel like my muscles are getting a workout.  It just doesnt feel right .

Regular push-ups work just as well, don't waste your money.
