hey :)

I don't know why this is difficult for me but w/e. Here's the question from my homework:

The area of an 11 -cm wide rectangle is 176 cm squared. What is it's length?

  1. 176/11= 16 so

    16+16+11+11= 54

    perimeter= 54 cm


  2. Area = Length x Width

    176 = Length x 11     Divide both sides by 11

    176/11 = Length

    16 = Length

    Check the answer:  11 x 16 = 176

  3. 11 times what = 176....
