I never ever have a heavy period, like EVER. Normally a box of like 40 tampons can last me about 2 cycles. And i Have gone through a box of 20 tampons in ONE day. i use regular ones because anything larger than that hurts me. But still this is VERY heavy. Can someone please explain to me why this is ? i've had my period for five or six years and i'm 15 yrs old. and i have never ever ever been heavy like this. and usually mine only lasts about 4 days, and tomorrow will be my fourth, and i don't see it stopping. I tried talking to my mom, and she's talking about putting me on the pill ? is this good or bad ? pleaseee answer. serious answers ONLY.

Also; i've been having HORRIBLE cramps & migrans. I there never this badd, and i never get migrans either.

  1. i think you have a tumor probably

  2. she probably wants to put you on the pill to lighten the period.

    it also helps your skin.

  3. That is abnormally heavy. Please keep your mom updated on this. Don't keep it to yourself. If it doesn't slow down today, you may need a trip to the doctor to get the bleeding stopped.

Bleeding like that is not something you'll normally experience every month, so you may or may not need to go on the pill. See what the doctor says.

  4. If you;re only worried based on the facts, I wouldn't worry.  Cycles and symptoms change all the time.  If it is a dark color, or something else changes, I would see your doctor.  Also, if you feel like something is wrong with you, you shouldn't ignore that.  You will know your body best.  And don't be in a hurry to get on the pill.  This is natural, and there's a good chance you won't be so miserable next month.

  5. That sucks, I would go to the doctor. They will probably put you on birth control. It helps, but it can cause other problems. Good luck.

  6. It's nothing to worry about...things like changed eating and excerise habits can effect your hormones, making your period heavy, or sometimes light. And your mom is right--putting you on the pill would help. It makes your periods light, and sometimes you even skip them. :) You can talk to your doctor about that though.

  7. The pill should help but you need to go to gynecologists.

  8. Listen to your mom, go on the pill. It will even out your hormones and give you very nice skin, blemish free =)

&don't worry, having an irregular period at you age is normal.
