so if a girl suspects she may have gotten pregnant and is completely freaked about it, and then she gets her period that means there is no way that she is right?

the period is at the right time of the month, the first period expected after the s*x.

she couldnt possibly be pregnant could she?

  1. nope she's not preggo take a deep breath and relax!

  2. She could still be pregnant, but probably not. It's best to visit the doctor. Some women have their periods throughout their entire pregnancy.

  3. Wrong ... my cousin was pregnant and had her period for 4 months ... she was 15 so I assumed its cos she was young ...

My mom and I had a "period" one month after getting pregnant

She should get a blood test anyway just to make sure ...

  4. That is right. When you have your period you shed the lining of your uterus... in order to be pregnant a fertilized egg (embryo) must implant into that lining.

Some women say they had their "period" for a few months when they got pregnant, but its not a true period because if they did they would have a miscarriage. Bleeding some in early pregnancy is not uncommon, but it is usually a small amount when it does happen (and they do not miscarry) and comes from the cervix, not the uterus or there is an issue with the placenta detatching early, etc. So if you had a NORMAL period (not just light spotting) you are not pregnant.

  5. very unlikely...stress less =D

  6. It is possibe and i have had had a freind who had her period through her entire pregnancy and her baby was totally fine. everybodys body is different and it's always handy to be on the safe side and do a couple of home preg tests over a week.

  7. I got a period when it was due and then the next month when my period didn't come I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant, which means I still got a period after conception. Some women have their period every month the whole nine months while pregnant. There's also implantation bleeding. It's probably unlikely but things like this happen quite often
