OK so i was at my guy friends house whom i kind of like, and theres a group of us, anouther girl and myself, and some guys. We are playing cards, etc, sitting arround a table. I was on the first day of me period, and normally its pretty light, but to be safe i wore the fullsized pad, but sometimes my period just randomly has huge gushes. So yes, i had a huge stain on my butt, but we were sitting down so im like okay... think of an escape route and dont panic. So we finish our game and i like make up an excuse and get up, push in my chair (which has blood on it :S:S) and back out the door, all very casually. But im just like ahhhh there is definately a bit of blood on my chair....... oooh sheeet. What should i do? Or not do, and how do you think one would react? And how long do i hide my face? Ehieulhrlaherluahr not cool! Help meeee

  1. the best thing to help you and everyone get over it is to admit it and act as if it was not a big deal. Dont be embarrased about it. Its natural and things like this happen to everyone. dont worry hun.

  2. Even guys know girls get periods.. and you managed to hide it.. next time you think the time is near.. why not always carry a tiny cosmetic like bag with you or a handbag does just as well and put some pads inside a plastic bag which you can fit in your bag and then you can change them and put the unused pads in your handbag and put the dirty pad in the bag, tie a knot in it and dispose of it when you get out.. or put it in the bin in his bathroom.. there should be a bin and if you tie it tight he won't look inside and it's no big deal as long as you covered it up when you were going home.. it happened to more than just you.. He will be fine with it.. if he mentions it to you don't be afraid and say you had that time of your month.. he will get the message and if the blood didn't dry on there it' s easy enough to get it out with water.. Don't worry so much. This could have happened elsewhere.. You are human and in puberty.. Guys can get erections and they feel embarrassed so if that ever happens and you see that .. act maturely and don't stare at it.. that shows you have common sense. if you can respect a guy if he should be in such a dilemma he should respect you for turning into a woman and for having your period and that you were not fully prepared...  you can use a tampon and a pad next time.. a mini tampon and a pad for strong periods. and change every few hours.. x*x Don't drink alcohol .. this is a normal thing that happened and you see from the guys who answered you here.. they are cool with it.. they understand...no alcohol to overcome shyness just tell him if he asks. xx

  3. next time take a long sleeve shirt or jacket with you so if it does happen you can tie it around your waist cover your bottom and go

  4. are you there?

    hahaha what?

  5. Just be like oh shoot im bleeding on my leg it musthave leaked threw. or tell them that you have it hahahaa

  6. tell em u had a nosebleed.  thats wat i do. works every time.

  7. Can you go and get one of the guys dark jumpers or something? It will be long so it will go over your butt and it will mop up the stain. Then take it home with you and say your cold and you can wash it. The old tie the jumper over your butt thing always works

  8. Ok it sounds like you are young and that can be difficult...young people can be pretty judgmental.  If they are good friends they will understand and not shame you for it.  I am 29 and I work at a large company yet in a small department.  I am on the Depo shot so I generally dont get my period but one day I felt the rush, too!  I was not wearing anything and it was casual day so instead of having hideable black pants on, I had jeans on.  It was 9:30 in the morning so I told my supervisor (he's 40 and married I have also worked with him for 10 years) that I had to step out really quick.  Either  way, really embarrassing..he asked "whats going on"?  I wasnt prepared for a BS answer and I flat out said "Um I have a female issue and I need to go to Old Navy and address it.  I could have been less informative but I think he appreciated my honesty.  I came back 30 minutes later in new jeans.  Bottom line... You cant live life without an imbarrassing moment, it happens to us all.  Guys are lucky when it comes to these things but most of them have sisters or they are just open minded an mature.  I wouldnt sweat it.

If you do want to own up to it...do it after a few drinks when it is you and him (if you drink) you may be more comfortable and not so tense or embarrassed.

  9. o God i would sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo humiliated

but you know it's ok.. it happens..

if these ppl are human beings they will understand that stuff like this happens....

  10. Thats life i suppose im sure he will forget about it try and talk about completely different situations. Just relax and forget about thats my advice. Hope this helps

  11. not a big deal... things happen.  Just make fun of yourself.  if you can laugh at yourself, it wont feel so bad.

my friend had her period in  my car.  stain on the seat and everything.  i told her to clean it up.  its all good.  Now we laugh about it all the time.  she threatens me with "dont make me have my period in your car"  when i tease her.
