  1. it stops in the water. you can wear your suit and run into water then run out.

    or ;

    wear a tampon

  2. tampon....(btw you dont have to change them every 2 hours..the max is 8 for most...i usually change mine every 61/2 to 7 hours...but it also depends on how heavy it is) but your period doesnt stop in the water....if it is practice, im sure you can skip it for a few days, but dont make it a habit because that screws up your training and is a dumb reason to skip practice every month...if its just going to swim for fun, do whatever is comfortable for you but i would just get a tampon and have some fun!

  3. just wear a tampon. is this ur first time that ur period came? if it is, and u don't feel comfortable swimming with a tampon, then explain to ur mom about why u don't won't to go. she'll understand. i skipped swimming for a week when i first got my period and didn't feel comfortable with a tampon. also, i think u CAN swim with ur period without a tampon, i've done it, but i suggest u don't if u don't want to embarress urself. alot of people say ur period stops in the water, and a lot say that's not true, but i 've never figured out which one is true.

  4. Your period does NOT stop in the water. The pressure from the water may keep it from flowing outside the body, so it will build up. When you get out and the pressure is released, your flow will have to go somewhere. Unless you're wearing a tampon or menstrual cup, it could be very messy and embarrassing.

  5. You will need protection, so wear a tampon.

    You will not see anything while wearing your swimsuit.

    It is totally safe to swim with one as well.

    good luck

  6. wear a tampon. still go swimming!!!just because a minor setback happens... don't let it ruin your fun!!! just wear a tampon and change it every 2 hrs and have a blast!!

  7. try a tampon, its not hard i promsie.

    a period does slow down in the water, but it doesnt completly stop and you dont want to belld in ur suit.
