Period after birth?

okay ive got an 8mo, and since i had her my period is horrid, gushy and clotty, i have to wear pads, and it feels like it pours out of me when i stand up, or move in general, is this normal?

  1. your periods should be almost back to normal by now, I would suggest going and talking to your doctor, because the way it sounds is like how it feels just after you have the baby, shouldnt still be like that 8mths later. Good Luck.

  3. It is very normal, birth control will help lighten it up if your not on it. If you are and still having this problem I would contact your doctor you may have cyst that are larger than normal during your cycle. Good luck!

  5. yes thats normal, i was like that after my kids.  I am on the pill now and my periods are so light and short, only three days.

  7. yea your body is pry trying to get all of that out. It has to make up for 9 months if yur concerned call yur doctor
