Period and horse riding... Help?

Im 14 and i have a heavy flow. I cant use tampons and cant ride my horse when i get it as i am scared it will leak with only using pad. Someone said ur period stops when you like apply pressure or something. Help please....

I ride all the time period or not.

Use a large (overnight size) pad if you're worried.

I would either recommend learning to use tampons, or just getting a very heavy duty pad, with wings for leak protection! Also the pressure thing isn't a known fact but it kinda works for me sometimes, but if you are going to be posting your trot, it probably won't work quite right. Well, good luck!!

I would just get some pads for heavy protection and maybe try to use tampons. Use wings on the pads so it doesn't leak and i really wouldn't worry. it's very unlikely for it to leak...
