Period blood is sticky?

Question

Right i think i have just started my period today, because i went to funeral today and i came back and i had dark browny red all over my pants. then i came home and put a pad on, and now it is really light and theres hardly any blood, but the blood that there is, is sticky, sort of like discharge but red?

help anyone?

oh and also, another reason i think it is my period and not anything else, is because i had pains this morning, and i still have them now.

Yeah sounds like its just starting.

Keep the pad on and make sure u change it every so often, even if u dont need to.

Yea its ur period!!!!!...it will probably be sticky for a while but it will change after a while!!!...wear light pads if its light and take some mild painkillers!

Ask your mother, may be Sticky Period Blood runs (or rather DOESN'T run ) in your family.

Its definatley your period. What else would it be? :) Lots of people, including me have the same problem. Its pretty normal because its meant to be sticky/gloopy. My first period was the same really.
