Period delayed.. why?

I am 16 years old and this summer i had s*x, protected... and he pulled out also just for extra precautions. Yet, my period is delayed and im pretty nervous. I had a work out though, for the past 2 weeks at 5:30 in the morning to 7. It was hard core and i lost 10 pounds with in the two weeks. Is it possible that my period is more delayed because of exercise or do you think there is a good chance I could be pregnant. Im just pretty worried.

I was supposed to have it the 27th of August.. i mean its not that late and im still a little young.. but still its a few days.

It was my first time having s*x august 8th and a few times after. each time pulled out.. i know theres factors of precum and all. Also, please dont comment on being stupid for having s*x at 16.. ive been with him for a year and a half.. so.

Thank you for any answers :)

  1. ou may just be late, or you're pregnant

  2. If you are worried do one of those pregnancy tests. I found out that when I either loose weight or gain weight my period plays.

For extra protection have you thought about taking the pill?

    Good luck

  3. It could be because of the weight decrease, but i would take a test just in case. If you are not sure then just visit your doc.

  4. 'Pulling out' is a myth, it makes no difference.

Exercise usually doesn't make any difference to periods, unless you are unfit + haven't exercised in a while.

Do a test + raise your concerns with your boyfriend.

You may want to look into other forms of contraception you can use, as well as the condom.

  5. You sure know a lot about s*x (pull out, factors of pre *** talk) for someone who just started having s*x less than a month ago... Have you heard of home pregnancy test sold at pharmacies. How are we supposed to give you a sure answer on this question. Stop having s*x!! and go at it again when your married! The way is supposed to be!
