Period every three weeks? (20 days)?

Question

I have my period every 20 days.

so does my mom. is it genetic?

this is only my third time but i knew it was coming between the 29 and 3rd and it came yesterday. will this happen every month?

Every 20 days? Wow!  That might not be good. A period is supposed to come every 25-30 days. 20 might be off but yes it could be genetic. Me and my mom's is 1 week or 2 apart. But yes it could be genetic. Hope this helps!
