  1. nope, your period cycles are always irregular when you first start.

    you'll be fine don't worry =)

  2. In the first couple of years most peoples periods aren't regular, so yours are probably still setting into a cycle. It's probably nothing to worry about at all :)

  3. nope i got my period in 5th grade and now im a freshman you would figure i would know the exact time i would get my period by now after having it for so long but im always late i have gone 2 months without my period before its normal to have irregular periods the first few years

  4. When you first start your periods they wil take a bit of time to settle down - this is perfectly normal.

You should think about whether you have been eating properly or ahve been stressed over anything this can affect thing too.

Also the last point would be whether or not you could be pregnant - review your personal circumstances and if still concerned speak to a doctor

  5. probably not i would not worry if you have not been having unprotected s*x if you have go ahead and take a test if not just be glad that it didn't come

  6. youre still new to it. it will be irregular for about 2 years, dont worry

  7. I am 27, I started mine when I was 14. I have yet for them to happen regularly. I am a healthy weight, exercises regularly and eat perfectly non man-made organic foods, I don't get regular periods. Neither do any other women in my family, so its likely its a genetic thing.

What can stop your periods if your usually very very clock-work regular and have been for a while is weight loss where your body weight is below its healthy BMI of 20, this will mean the hormones in your body are not all working, some may be, they wont all be an as a result you can have periods without ovulation or no periods at all. Its dangerous if this does happen as it can mean you can get bone problems such as osteoporosis and other hormonal in-balances which not only affect your mood and mind, but the entire way your body functions.Check out with your GP that your not underweight, it could be why.

Also, stess can make them stop- if your very stressed the hormones that are produced as a result can stop your periods.

And finally, not having enough body fat: if you exercises alot and have alot of muscle but little fat (you need around 20% body fat to have periods) then again, your hormones are affected and this can mean you don't get periods.

The rest of us? we are just irregular with periods, weight, stress and muscle mass make no difference. Its annoying but you just have to wait.

  8. not necessarily no. it usually will take a couple of years before your period is 100% regular. That is one reason that there is such a high rate of teen pregnancy most think they can determine when is and isn't their 'peak time' or whatever and more often than not without testing you can't be sure. if you go more than a month (after the missed period) ask your mom to make you an appointment at the doctor. Also she would be a good person to talk to about this with. She probably went through the same things since periods and development are pretty often genetic. Good Luck

  9. since you just started it it's not regular its totally normal.

And it'll take a few years to get normal.
