my periods are really irregular, like sometimes they dont come for 3 months and im trying to get pregnant. my last period was the 9th june, i went to the doctors on the 16th june to say to her about my periods being irregular and that i was having problems getting pregnant, she said i was to come back 19 days after my next period and she will do a blood test to see if i am ovulating, but my period has still not came yet, should i go back and say to her or what, i am 20, i had an abortion last year, it was the biggest mistake ever, as i had been on and off the pill as i wanted a baby, i think the whole 3 years on the pill i only took 4 packets. so i dont know why i did it, but thats been over a year now. plz help

  1. go to dr and do ckeck up u r so young and have many time to be mother don't worry

  2. Ask her to put you on 200mg Prometrium for 7 days. It will induce a period and she could go from there. If your Dr. refuses to work with you, I suggest finding you a new one. Many couples spend years TTC and they find out later on MUCH more could have been done to increase their chances. If you live in Savannah Ga. try Dr. Fehr. She is the best Ob/Gyn I have ever met!! The # to the Office is (912) 692-1080. Just in case....

Good Luck and Lots of baby dust. I have been TTC for over a year and I was diagnosed with PCOS(Polycystic Ovarian Disease) 9 months ago so...I know exactly how you feel.

  3. go back to your doctor

  4. There can be many reasons for a late period.  If you think you might be pregnant, get a home test.

  5. I would go back to the doctor.  Sometimes girls are put on the pill for a couple months only to stop taking them, when they are trying to become pregnant.  It regulates your period.  For sure I would go back to the doctor.

  6. Go to your doctor, she'll give you this pill that'll make you start getting regular cycles.

  7. Get a new doctor. You could wait 3 months for your next period. Not helpful! In fact, you should be seeing a specialist or at least an OBGYN about this. There is a pill they can give you, called Provera, that will jump-start your period, and then you can do the progesterone test after that. But if you do that route, I personally would also do a single OPK that cycle, starting testing on CD10. You could also request a CD3 FSH and estradiol test. Certainly find a new doctor who is going to be more useful than sending you away to wait for a period that might never come :) Good luck honey xoxox
