Period on day 6th of interval,should i start new pack tomorow?

sorry to ask this question again but i need answer.

i have started my first pack of Diannet on day 5th of my period last month for 21 days.then 7 days interval.

now im on day 6th of interval and i had my period today.so what should i do? start new pack on day 5th of my period again as dr prescribed? or start it tomorow coz my interval days will finish tomorow?

i cant visit my dr by tomorow so plesae help me

if by intervals you mean the nonactive pills, then you need to start a new pack as soon as your nonactive pills are gone regardless of your period.  starting it after 5 days is just how you start your fist pack, to keep your bc effective you need to start the next pack the day after you take your last nonactive pill.

Hey there,

What happens with the pill is you take 21 days pills then 7 days placebo pills, then start the new pack of 21 days worth of pills.

Do not start the next pack on the 5th day of this period, as that is what you do when you first start the pill, not after having taken it before.

In other words, tomorrow is your last day of interval, so carry onto the next pack as usual :)

I duno what would be the best

But Im not sure what the number is but you can ring an nhs helpline number, maybe best to do it first thing tomorrow but im sure they will eb able to help you!
