  1. Yes...exercising will help the cramping and give you energy as long as you dont over exert yourself. I usually go for a nice bike ride. Get my heart pumping for about 20 minutes then lower my speed for a little while and just enjoy the ride. I always feel better when I'm done. I think it is probably becuz you are getting more oxygen when you exercise and so you feel rejuvinated. Also...try taking a B complex vitamin for energy. Bananas do help cramping becuz they contain Potassium. I also use Midol becuz it is made specifically for period discomfort...it seems to work better for me than just Tylenol or Motrin. Hope you feel better... :0)

  2. A BANANA!!!!

  3. exercise might make you a bit more "out of it".. but it's really worth it. it makes my cramps go down A LOT. if you don't want to do that, just eat a banana, lie on your stomach, and drink lots of water and milk. :) hope i helped.

  4. I mean i use midol, and it helps a lot! And going for a run will actually give you more engergy.

  5. Yeah I feel like sh*t right now. I woke up in the middle of the night with cramps...and its just sooo uncomfy this month.

I've been using ThermaCare heatpads which help.  (other head pad brands dont work as well I've found but ThermaCare is good)

I've taken Advil and Aleve - I prefer Aleve because it is still an NSAID (NSAID's reduce inflamation which we need during our period) but it isn't ibuprofren so its gentler on the stomach.

People say going for a walk helps but I think I'd keel over and pass out if I tried lol  Maybe try a light walk down the road?  I walked 10 mins on the tredmill yesterday it was all I could take feelin this cruddy

I've been drinking hot peppermint tea. Also, Starbucks sells a box of tea bags that is Tazo tea it says Refresh on it. Its peppermint, terragon and spearmint - all 3 ingredients work to help the stomach... I don't know how much its helped my cramps but I think its worked some.  (I put a mug of water in the microwave for 1:30 and then let the tea bag steep for 3-4 mins then drink slowly until it cools off a bit)

Also a little caffeiene is supposed to help.... Maybe some dark chocolate will help.

I wish there was something else I'm doing all of those things and this month is just worse than others I still feel like c**p...  If you haven't done something I mentioned, try it, you may find it works for you - usually it all works for me

(people say to eat a banana too because they are filled with potassium and potassium relieves muscle cramping)

  6. I am not sure how old you are or if you you are sexually active, but sometimes s*x relieves cramping for me if I am on my period.

  7. They say when you m********e, it reduces menstrual cramps and gives you a slight burst of energy. You should also eat like a banana or something.

  8. Try some pain killer and some good food... try to relax and a nice bath (not too cold, not too warm) will help relive the pain as well.

    Banana... of course :)

  9. Try eating some bananas

  10. A lot of women feel like that on their period and aside from maybe Midol, chocolate or caffeine, there really isn't a whole lot you can do to make it go away. : (

Sorry! We've all been there! You'll feel better soon!

  11. Keep eating a lot and have energy drinks so you don't feel so low energy. When I get cramps I just take advil and I feel a lot better. And you shouldn't let your period slow you down. Just keep moving on with your life and try not to think about it!

    Hope this helped :)
