I usually have a normal period. It lasts anywhere from 5-7 days, and I have one every month. I stopped taking my birth control last month, so I had two periods. Me and my husband have had unprotected s*x alot lately, we want to get pregnant, but all of the pregnancy test have showed negative. My last period was on June 24 and today is July 26. Is it still to early to tell if I am pregnant, or am I not getting my period because of the birth control? Can someone please help me?????????????

  1. It could just be that you just got off the pill. You body needs a little while to get back into the swing of things. But yes you could also be prego wait a few days and take another test. You never know.

  2. i was allways told if u want 2 get pregnant take the pill then wen u stop it u concieve quick but if u been on it a long time it can take a bit longer have u done a test ? cause if u dont c anything in the next 2 weeks i suggest u do 1 the chances r u r preggers goodluck anyway x

  3. You should check again with a test in a couple of days, and if nothing else happens, you can have a blood test.  it's more accurate to detect pregnancies...than the home tests

  4. My guess would be it has to do with coming off birth control.  Your body has to learn how to regulate itself.  I went off of birth control in February and I still haven't had a true period.  I've spotted twice, once in May and once in June.  Hopefully you won't have to go through that (seeing I kept thinking I was pregnant and wasted lots of money on tests), and usually the docs won't see you until 2-3 missed periods.  If you still haven't gotten a period at the end of the summer, they might give you Provera, to bring it on.  Goodluck and baby dust to you.
