  1. everyone gets their period at different ages but if youre really worried about it talk to your mum and you could get somekind of injection i heard about which will make your period come

  2. In general, the puberty and the menstrual cycle are genetically and hormonally determined and different girls can have different development. In different countries periods are starting at 11-17 (depending on physical development, hormones, genetics, country location, etc). It is very personal and pre-menstrual "signals" (strange discharges, breast tense, abdomen pain, etc.) can come 1-2 days or 2-3 months or 11-12 months in advance. Some girls don’t have any pre-menstruation "signals".  It depends how sensitive are you and how fast your hormones will jump up. Just don't be stressed because stress itself could make a delay. Everything has it’s time - read about "when expect first period" below.

  3. To answer your question,

    every woman is different,

    i got mine when i was 12.

    my friend at 17,

it all depends on the woman's body.

if your truly worried i would consult a Doctor.

  4. I want to re-assure you that nothing is wrong.  Typically, you'll see other signs of puberty at least a year or so before it starts, so you have some warning that it's coming. All young women are different. Most common symptoms of starting our period are tenderness of the breast, cramping, spotting, and mood swings.  Everyone is different. Neither earlier nor later is "better" in any way.

I didn't get mine until I was 15.  I couldn't wait till I got it because all my friends had it and I didn't.  What was I thinking?  Now I am at the stage in my life that I may be starting the pre-menapausal cycle.  I don't know if I am ready for it.
