Hello ladies!

I got my period on the 2nd of August and stopped 6 days later. That was my very first period.

It never got red. It was always brown, and not too heavy.

Will my next one be heavy and red?

  1. well u never know.

u dont want it to be heavy.

since it was ur first period, ur body isnt used to the cycle yet so thats why ur period isnt red yet.

it may be next month when you get it.

REMEMBER:: it takes 2 yrs. for your body to get used to ur period, and for your period to come on a regular cycle.

    hope this helps!! :D

  2. The older blood is always brown or discolored. Your next period will likely be more red, but will probably be darker toward the end. There is no real way to know what the next one will be like, it depends on your body. You may not even get one next month! You really just have to wait a few months and let your body get in the habit of things and you will know how heavy your periods will be.

  3. it really just depends.  at first its super irregular.  once it starts to regulate, it may or may not get heavy.  trust me its better if its less heavy haha.

  4. Nothing to worry about. They can be irregular at first and sometimes the blood is not bright red as you might expect, it can be darker in some women--depends on your blood type.

  5. theres a chance it cud b red but being heavy we wudnt no depends how ur body is every1s different

  6. Don't worry about it, and the next time it might be, and it might not. My first one lasted for 12 days, yes, 12, but I got the brown at first and then towards the end, just because mine lasted for so long, it turned into red. So eventually, it will turn red, but you can't really put a timer on these things. No worries :)

  7. no.  I will be a bit irregular but it will probably be brown and light.  Brown only means it has taken a long time to move around ****** .  Check it out on www.libragirl.com.au it has all your info that yahoo won't.

  8. I also got a brown period, but the next time I got it, it was red and heavier but on the two last days it was brown again and really light?. I've heard that it can change colors. SO yeah, you have nothing to worry about.

  9. Yes, that same happened to me. I got my first period on Christmas day in 8th grade and it was short, light, and brown. I didn't need more than a pantyliner. I thought "What's the big deal about periods?"

Then I got my second period on Jan. 15 when I was on an airplane to my grandma's memorial service and my mom wasn't with me since she was already with her family. It was heavy and red, and I had no pads. Now I know that in airplane bathrooms there's a little compartment with free pads in case. Anyway, it was heavy (or I thought it was at the time, it wasn't the worst I've had, that's for sure!) and I felt dizzy and had cramps. Long story short, you won't know when your second period will come (for some girls it takes months, others days) but be prepared! Sorry for the long background story!

  10. since you just started, there's really no predicting of what your next one will be like. for the first several months (maybe even years) it'll be weird. you might get it for a few days or a little over a week. it just depends since everyones body is different!
