Period while on Tricyclen lo?

Ok so I started taking Tricyclen Lo to regulate my periods 4 weeks ago. On Sunday that was my first time not taking a pill, so i would get my period. It has been so heavy and I have had such bad cramps all week! The first 3 days I had to change my pad every half hour and it kept waking me up at night. It was so gross. It has slowed down a bit now, but I was wondering if it is going to be like this every month now or was that just my body getting used to the pill?

Oh I hope it was just a one time thing. I couldn't move because I was in so much pain. I was even taking Advil Liquagels every 4 hours to help with cramps and it wasn't working!!!

It sounds like your body is trying to adjust to being on the Tricyclen Lo (an example only).

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
