Periods after pregnancy?

i gave birth to my son back in september and once I got my first period i started taking may pill. I took it for 6 months and then decided to stop as it was sending my moods a bit mad (!) since then i had one period at the start of april, one 6 weeks later and nothing since..... anyone else experienced this irregularity (I used to be bang on every 4 weeks before i got pregnant)

sounds more like the pill that is missing you up than anything else, it takes 3months for the pill to get fully out of your system, having a baby can effect your periods if the hormons have not settled right, but if you had a period in april and then another in may/june then i would say you might be on a 6week cycle instead of a 4week one which isn't uncommon its just a longer cycle, if you are worried i would advise going to your doctor who can run some tests and make sure everything is okay, i had my son in June last year my periods were 28days until this year, now been 5months since my last period, nothing wrong, sometimes after a baby your body just needs some down time,
