Periods??? plz answer!!!!!!!?

ok well i just got my first period yeaturday and i dont like the feel of sitting in blood wearing a pad so i aske my mom if i canould get tampons cause i am playing volleyball and a pad wouldnt be comfortable. soo we are going to use kotex. what do you think about using tampons for your very first period?

its fine and they are grat for summer but just remember to change them every 4-6 hours

theres nothing wrong with that but make sure you get the right size and i would reccomend using tampax pearl with the plastic applicater because it slides in easily and it is good for first timers

As long as  the tampon feels comfortable.  Make sure you get the right size.

you gotta be careful, they can be hard to insert in the correct position. a lot of "first timers" also don't realize they need to change it and end up all bloody or with an infection. so change it every 2-4 hours you can tell when it needs it cause it will "pull" easily. there won't be much resistance. good luck

I have tried them and do not like them, but it is a personal choice.  I say go for it what do you have to loose.  You might like them, you might not, but you wont know intill you try.
