  1. They make tampons out of their hair.

  2. Menstruation is physiologic after the onset of menarche.

  3. Apparently tribal women do not experience the 'problems' with menstruation that Western women do - they are perplexed that a woman would feel pain/ ill or really tired when she is menstruating.

It is thought to be to do with diffferent diet, activity levels, and the fact that tribal women tend to have A LOT of pregnancies, hence many fewer cycles.

I know that this does not answer the question, but Tracey already did, and how anyone can thumbs down her answer beggers belief!.

  4. more over than that, take a country that has it but the poverty class can not get it. to them even the smallest things in our every day lives are a unreachable luxury.

We take these things for granted.

  5. Using cloths or making tampons etc out of available material.

The ancient Egyptians used soft rolls of papyrus as tampons.

  6. The same way they took care of their menstrual needs before Tampax came into being.

They use rags or absorbent plant material.

  7. Sea sponges from the sea is effective and so is Mooncups.

Mooncups are better because sea sponges are live species.
