Question:

Permanent Residence Application in Canada???

I graduated from College and University in Canada and I also have legal work experience in Canada. Recently, I was refused for Post Graduate Workpermit, the reason was that I already had PGWP in past and it is issued only for 1 time. I also was refused few times for studypermit or studypermit extension in past but somehow I was able to fix the problem through the help from the lawyer. Now I am planning to apply for the Permanent Residence as a Skilled Worker, I have 76 points which is above minimum requirement of 67points. Do my past visa refusals would effect my Permanent Residence Application decision? I have never done anything illegal or over stayed in Canada.

  1. No your past refusal wont effect your PR application, due to the fact that refusals were in different category than what u are applying now.

    Good luck.
