  1. Is It Dry Eraser Board? We have that. What We did when someone did that was we used a mixture of dish soap, bleach, and scrubbing bubbles, with a sponge. And It worked.

  2. try some 409 before you use the magic eraser.   Nail polish remover might also work.

  3. Nail Polish Remover, providing you have one that contains acetone.

I work in a lab, we mark our glassware and containers in permanent marker and use the acetone to clean it off.   Works without effort.

  4. Try lighter fluid.  The kind they use in cig. lighters, it's in the yellow and blue plastic bottle.  That has worked.

  5. Get a dry erase marker (yes, we will make marks to take marks) and a dry eraser.

Draw over what you want to erase (make sure you draw slowly to fill it in better).

    Erase.

  6. Try WD-40!

  7. Ok, here's two solutions to your problem. I remember doing this once in grade school and I got in trouble, but my friend figured out how to get the marks off the board. Try using a dry erase marker and completely covering the permanant marker marks and then erase the area. You may have to do this multiple times to completely get rid of the permanent marker

Option Two: As a last resort, try Goo Gone. It's a wonderful cleaning solution that you can buy from: http://www.organize-everything.com/googo... or you can buy in most drug stores, home supply stores, etc. Believe me, it does get rid of permanent markers (drawings on wall, long story . . . but it got rid of the marker!! :D )

Good luck and hope that this helps you!!!!! :D

  8. try fingernail polish remover, or paint thinner.

  9. color over it with a dry erase marker, it works great!

  10. easy.had this problem two times in my school!!just overlap/outline the permanent ink with whiteboard marker and use the duster/board cleaner to clean it. and ola!you've got a clean board!

  11. try to buy -permanent marker remover. remover available in 2 forms one is eraser and liquid

  12. purell hand sanitizer. if this doesn't work, google and find the sharpie web site. they have tips for removing permanent marker off surfaces

  13. WHAT TYPE OF ALCOHOL DID YOU USE? I HAVE USED RUBBING ALCOHOL ON THIS AND IT REMOVED EASILY.  GIVE IT A TRY.

  14. its probably worth it to just get a new board, they are not so expensive- you can get a small one practically anywhere- the only other thing i can think of is to use soap and hot water! goodluck!
