Permanently clearing Yahoo drop search record.?

Question

I hate the fact that when typing the first few letters in yahoo search that a record of your searches shows up. How do I permanently disable that function? Tools delete files and clear history doesn't work. You can hit "delete" after each drop down search but its a pain. Thanks.

depends on browser, so go into options/ preferences, and privacy and uncheck ~remember search bar tabs,

or control panels, internet options/ content/ auto complete/ web addresses ,

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom

You have to disable the auto complete option.

Go to Tools Menu, Internet Options, Content tab, Personal Information, then click the Auto complete button. In the Auto complete settings, unchecked all the boxes there.
