Permanently straighten short hair possible?

i want to get my hair permanently straighten and layered so that i dont have to do it again during school year. my hair is is pretty short, it's chin length so is it possible to get it straighten at a salon?

You can get it 'chemically straightened.' Like a perm but straight. Just ask your hairdresser.
