Permit???? Please help :)?

I have a Massachusetts permit and am going up to Maine tomorrow....does Maine allow Massachusetts permit drivers???? I know on my permit it says I can only drive there if the state is ok with it....please help me, a link to some place that I could get the answer would be nice :)

  1. I believe all states will allow anyone with a permit to drive in that state as long as they follow the requirements stated on the permit.

    For expedience, you should call the Maine DMV. You can contact them at 207-624-9000.


  2. Typically you only need a license from one state to drive in all other states. This cuts out the need for multiple licenses.
