  1. If you enter the intersection at the same time, the driver on the right has the right of way. If you see a person to your right let them go first. If you see a person on your left you go first because you are on there right side. Understand??

  2. two cars come to a stop at the same time. the person on the right has the right of way.

  3. Those answers are true but if you are taking the actual

driving test, they want you give the right of way to every car at the intersection before you go.

I took my test and did really well until I got to a 4 point intersection. A car went as I was stopping and there were two other cars. Another car went which left me and the last car. I waited to give the right of way to that car but it wouldn't go. I waited so long I finally went and then that car went at the same time. He almost crashed into me and they said I should have given him the right of way! I did!

Just be careful. But yes, it is the car to the right of you.

  4. The car to the right has the right of way if both cars get there at the same time but otherwise it goes to who gets there first.

  5. Traffic signs, signals, and pavement markings do not always resolve conflicts.

The right of way rule tells drivers who goes first and who must wait in different situations.

Here are the right-of -way rules:

A driver approaching an intersection must yield the right-of-way to traffic already in the intersection. (traffic in the intersection has the right of way)

If drivers are approaching an intersection from opposite directions, the driver turning left must yield to approaching traffic going straight or turning right. (traffic going straight or turning right has the right-of-way)

Two drivers at an intersection that arrived at the same time at a right angle. The driver on the left must yield the right-of way. ( the driver on the right has the right of way)

A vehicle entering a roadway form a driveway, alley, private driveway, parking lot, or any other place that is not another roadway, must stop and yield the right-of-way to traffic or pedestrian on the roadway.

Pedestrians in marked or unmarked crosswalks have the right-of-way.

Traffic in a blocked intersection has the right of way.  Do not enter the intersection until the traffic has cleared.

Traffic in a circle or rotary have the right of way.

  6. I gotta tell you, this never happens, and it's of no importance.  When you're in an intersection, the ONLY time you're going to care who got there at the same time is at a 4-way stop.  At a 4-way stop, you got no chance of hitting the other car.  It's impossible.

This rule doesn't really apply at any other intersections in practice.  The rest of the time, there's always another way to figure out who has the right of way.

  7. the cars on the right have the right of way. the cars going straight have the right of way over a turning car.go to dmv.gov and they have sample tests you can take. and also the rules of the road you can study. good luck

  8. when 2 cars come to it at the same time ---remember that the one( on the right or turning right) has the right-of-way first. This applies to all intersection "4way stop"
