do you have to be on your perants insurance to driver thier car with your permit? i live in california

Most insurance companies require all licensed persons living in a household to be in included on the policy.

If you have an accident, and are not listed..it could be a huge liablilty for you and your parents.

Check with your local insurance regulatory commission.

no, that would go under borrowing/lending a family/friends car with permission. SOme insurace companys wont cover it if you crash, but some do
