Pernilla Lindberg working hard on her game

Swedish Pernilla Lindberg has said that she is happy with her performance and has been working hard on her “game for the last couple of months”.
Lindberg, who participated in the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic 2012 and displayed a stunning performance, is eyeing title at the upcoming CN Canadian Women’s Open, set to start next week at The Vancouver Golf
Club, Canada.
Despite performing well in recent events and having improved her game to a great extent, Lindberg’s fans have pinned hopes on her. It remains to be seen how the Swedish star lives up to the expectations of
her fans and the Canadian spectators.
Speaking to the media about her current form, the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) titan said that she is making a great effort in the 2012 season, trying to fix flaws and lapses in her putting.
The professional golfer said that the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic 2012 saw her unveil solid putting skills. She pointed out that she still has a long way to go, but is very happy with the way things are moving.
Lindberg said that although she kicked off the current season with big aims, her performance in some of the LPGA tournaments has not been very commendable, which reflects that she has yet to regain her real
form.
She said that making a good score has been a huge problem for her, as she performed worse-than-expected in recent events.
“In June, I felt that my game was going in the right direction, but I didn't get the scores out.  Then over Evian, especially the Irish Open last week, I felt more and more confident and the things that I've
been working on are finally showing on the course,” the Swede said.
However, the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic 2012 brought plenty of surprises for the LPGA star, as she impressed her fans by shooting a big score in the opening round.
Lindberg stunned her rivals and the spectators after she opened her first round with a 64 at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, held in Ohio last Sunday.
She said that performance in the first round of Jamie Farr Toledo Classic boosted her confidence. “It felt like I had some momentum coming into this week”.
