Perry Barr ready to host 12 Heats on Tuesday night – Greyhound Racing Preview
Perry Barr has a lot of entertainment to offer on Tuesday evening, February 7, 2012. There will be 12 mega races, and every trainer is expecting his hound to appear as the star of the show.
The excitement will definitely pump up with every passing moment and thus, the last two contests of the evening are likely to be thrill-packed.
In the 11th heat of the day, six rampant hounds will run on a 480 metre long track.
The Grade A3 heat has attracted Cooly Gorm, Cheerful Jim, Awesome Fire, Bearhaven Seven, Scattery Maldini, and Battle Mode.
According to the betting forecast, Bearhaven Seven is the most favourite hound, enjoying the winning chances of 5/2.
The fawn dog is undoubtedly a talented hound with an ability to upset the best in the business. However, his previous two outings were quite unimpressive, as the last position went to his credit on both occasions.
Balintore Brave’s son out of Tai Lass can dominate the proceedings, but for that he will have to avoid any sort of crowding in the middle.
Since he became a part of the mess in his previous two races, it was impossible for him to do anything special.
His recent two poor performances pushed him down to the lower Grade, and that can be a mega plus for him.
On the other hand, things haven’t been going well for Cooly Gorm. However, luck has been very kind to him, as he still managed to win his previous race on January 21.
Cheerful Jim is also stepping into the clash with a win under his belt, and will be a huge threat for the entire line-up.
Awesome Fire, won his previous heat by a neck’s margin; however, he will have to improve in this pressure race.
Scattery Maldini has not been doing a good job recently, and cannot afford to deliver any further ordinary performance.
Battle Mode is likely to be one of the least favourite in the competition, and only an upset can take him to victory.
In the last heat of the day, See Emily Play, Droopys Effy, Highview Member, Seek The Gold, Cheerful Mollie, and Lady Of Destiny are scheduled to contest for a cash prize of £49.
The 480 metre long Grade A7 has, Highview Member as the possible 2/1 betting favourite. Despite the fact that the black dog is yet to seal a win this year, his fans have pinned a lot of hopes on him.
The bettors have plenty of things to rate him as favourite, but only time will tell whether they are right or wrong.
Droopys Effy is slightly under pressure after a lacklustre show in the previous heat. Seek The Gold, will also start the event with a lot of hopes on his shoulders.
While Cheerful Mollie’s chances are not bright, whereas Lady Of Destiny holds some serious chances to upset the rest.
Despite the fact that the races have obvious favourites, there are some dangerous hounds, who can spring up a surprise.
No matter who wins the race, the competitions are likely to produce a lot of thrill.
